The FR-5.2 is made of heat treated alloy steel, the one inch base fits a wrench or bench vise. Thin wall construction allows it's use without removal of hub cones and lock nuts.
- Fits Shimano®, SRAM® (including 1x), SunRace®, SunTour®, Chris King® and other cassette lockrings
- Also fits some Shimano® disc brake lockrings
- It has 12 splines that are approximately 23.4mm across
- Center bore for axle clearance is 12mm
- Base size for socket or wrench is 1" or 25.4 mm
- *Always use a quick release skewer to hold the tool in place and snug to cogs when loosening; For solid axles, use the axle nut
