DD - Double Down: Two 120 TPI casing layers reinforced with a butyl insert that extends from the kevlar bead up into the sidewall. The butyl insert helps prevent pinch flats, protects the rim from hard hits and adds sidewall stability. This provides the rider with side wall support and an extra layer of protection to help save you from sidewall gashes, tire pinches, and excessive wear. These tires are burly and can withstand a lot of punishment.

DD - Double Down: is the next step in the evolution of the dual-ply tire casing for enduro riding. Two 120 TPI casing layers reinforced with a butyl insert that extends from the bead of a tire up into the sidewall. The butyl insert helps prevent pinch flats, protects the rim from hard hits and adds sidewall stability. This provide the rider with the side wall support and protection of a downhill tire but in a lighter weight tire.

The Tomahawk is an all-mountain tire that will excel in all conditions. The low-profile center lets the tire roll fast on hardpack, but the open knob spacing allows the tread to clear out mud if the trail gets wet. The large side knobs, matched with the square profile, allow for confident cornering for all terrains. If you're looking for a tire that can do it all without compromising, the Tomahawk is the tire for you.
